Four Research Projects Funded

The 2021 grant round has resulted in funding for four diverse research projects designed to inform action and better decision-making for the Bay. The research will assess the effectiveness of wetlands restoration on Minjerribah, provide insight into how to encourage community appreciation and support for sustainable management of the Bay, and assess the impact of vehicle use on ocean beaches. The recreational boating project featured below is the first off the mark and the others will be profiled in our next newsletter.

The Foundation thanks all the research collaborators for their applications for funding, members of our evaluation panel, and our donors and partners for their generous support of this vital work. We look forward to continuing to invest in a Brighter Future for Moreton Bay.
