To focus expertise, wisdom and enthusiasm for the benefit of Moreton Bay
The Moreton Bay Foundation launched its Moreton Bay Ambassadors program in August 2021. A donation of $5000 to TMBF comes with the honour of sponsoring, a migratory shorebird that spends time each year in Moreton Bay. The funds go to supporting research projects by our member organisations (Griffith, QUT, QYAC, UQ and USC).
Ambassadors get the opportunity to spend time in the Bay with researchers, volunteers and local legends, Ambassadors also receive a drawing of their sponsored shorebird generously donated by PhD candidate Joshua Wilson.
